Your satisfaction is important to us, and while we hope each piece is exactly what you envisioned, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary. Our returns policy has been designed to be transparent, fair, and convenient for you.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

To maintain the integrity of our garments and ensure a seamless experience, please note the following conditions:

  • Each item is delivered with a ‘Sale Acceptance’ tag sewn externally onto the garment. By removing this tag, you confirm acceptance of the sale and waive the right to return or exchange the item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any items where this tag has been removed, tampered with, or damaged.
  • Returns or exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Once authorised, your item must be collected within 3 days by our courier partner.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original condition, with all original tags attached.
  • For hygiene reasons, accessories, underwear, and swimwear are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Items purchased during promotional events or markdowns may carry special return conditions. These will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Please submit a return request using our online [return form] or contact us directly at mongo.tywakadi@kungawe.com. Kindly include your order number in the subject line for faster service.
  2. Our team will request a photo showing the intact 'Sale Acceptance' tag to confirm eligibility.
  3. Once approved, we will arrange a courier collection at a time that suits you at the client’s shipping expense.
  4. Please ensure your item is securely packaged, preferably in the original box, to prevent any damage during transit.
  5. You’ll receive tracking information upon dispatch. We recommend keeping this for your records.

Return & Exchange Processing

  • Upon receipt, our team will inspect your item(s) to confirm they meet our return criteria.
  • If approved:
    • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3 business days. Kindly allow time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the transaction.
    • Shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

If Your Return Is Declined

Should your return not meet the eligibility criteria, we will notify you and provide the option to have the item returned to you at your expense. We allow time for shipping fees to reflect on our side before dispatching.

Common reasons a return may be declined:
  • The ‘Sale Acceptance’ tag is missing or compromised.
  • Items are returned in a worn, damaged, or unclean condition.
  • The exchange request is for a different style than originally purchased.
  • Items from the return are missing or not included in the collection.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the rare event that you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately. We will prioritise resolving the issue and ensure you receive the correct replacement or full refund without delay.
